Bit of a failure at Lent ...

... in the very first week! I feel bad about this. After all, the promise that we make at lent is a promise to God. I am determined not to fail again. And I offer this prayer to our lord.

Dear Lord,
Please forgive my weakness in failing to avoid my vice.
Please give me the strength to succeed from this day forth.
Thank you Lord for always being so understanding.
I know that I am unworthy of your forgiveness
And so I cherish this gift all the more.
I ask this in the name of your Son - Jesus Christ
Amen.
